functioning of all administrative activities of the company. To establish good
relations with the employees by ensuring their benefits and comforts. Maintain

Job description of HR, Compliance and administration
head (GM) in Garments Industry
- Taking full responsibility of Factory Administration including HR & Compliance.
- Human resources Management policies set up for the organization & implement in effective way as required buyer’s Code of Conduct/Labor Law.
- Guiding Management and Employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating company’s service rules, policies, procedures methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
- Efficiently recruitment, training, counseling, orientation program & assign job description.
- Annual Budget, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management & Audits.
- Wages, benefits, pay & allowances, settlement of employee pay & fixation as mentioned labor law/company act
- Ensure HR issues - plan, develop, recruit, train, maintain and lead a team which also includes policies & procedures, disciplinary action etc.
- Preparing, organizing & managing factory audits as per buyer’s social, ethical, environmental, technical, supply chain security & QMS requirement.
- Maintain regular contacts with the concerned legal departments and ministries of the Govt. of Bangladesh, business partners, counterparts, commercial house etc.
- Prepare the factory fulfilling all the parameters demanded by ACCORD & ALLIANCE.
- Sound knowledge on process & procedures of certification of WRAP, BSCI, SADEX, C-TPAT & ISO
- Experienced on health & safety issues covering fire safety, electrical safety & building safety.
- Liaison with BGMEA, compliance auditors, fire service & civil defense, labor office, labor court as well as police station for smooth functioning of factory administration as the compliance demand.
- Keep the factory always ready to face any UN announced audit with all audit documents.
- Follow up the CAP & meet the buyer’s deadline after every audit.
- Prepare annual training calendar; ensure training are conducted as per schedule & effectiveness with proper documentation/register as demanded by the buyer’s Code of Conduct.
- Interact with factory personals to develop awareness of compliance issues to achieve better compliance standard.
- Handle the legal issues related to company affairs as well as Labor Law.
- Ensure legal & compliance issues raised by the buyers part.
- Ensure the security and safety factors in the factory.
- Handle any crisis situation effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain Public Relations & Protocol of company.
- Travel Management including ticketing and airport protocol.
- Ensure implementation of compliance with regulatory or statutory laws, organization’s policies, top management’s expectations and Buyers’ COC/Global Compliance Principles.
- Maintain correspondence independently Immigration and passport office, Embassy & High Commission.
- Maintaining files, records and information of Public Relations & Protocol
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly work schedule for the top Management
- Maintain liaison with VIP by sending greeting and messages on behalf of the Higher Management
- Any other duties as and when entrusted by top Management.
- Execution of company`s administrative plans, policies and decisions of the Management.
- Control & supervise the entire logistic support for factory operation
- Responsible for conducting different training like Capacity Building Programme, Structural, Electrical, Fire Safety and compliance related all others.
- Training conducted to officers/staffs about various policies, rules & regulation according to local labor law-2006 & ensure monthly meeting conducted by OIC’s with W.P.C, First Aider & occupational Health & Safety members
- Responsible for ensuring healthy workplace; managing--Employees Health & Hygiene, Safety & Security; Employee and Labor-Management Relations; Conducting Fire Fighting System, Evacuation Procedure etc.
- Preparing, organizing and managing factory Audits--Social Compliance, ethical, environmental, Technical / Quality Control, Quality Compliance & C-TPAT Compliance etc.
