Some basic topics about Higg FEM :

1. Do you know how much section are in Higg FEM? 

Ans: 7 Section: EMS, Energy, Water, Wastewater, Waste, Air emission, Chemical Management. There is another part Facility site info & Permits. But this part has no score. 

2. Do you know without which license, Higg FEM overall score will be Zero? 

Ans: Valid factory operating license/Factory license.

3. Do you know how much level are present for each 7 section & their score % of each levels ? 

Ans: Every section have three level: Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3 Every sections Level 1 score is 25% Level 2 score is 50% & Level 3 score is 25%.

4. Do you know which sections level 3 is not scored yet now? 

Ans: Energy sections : Level 3 (7. Were your facility’s annual Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculated in 2017? (This question is not scored.))

5. Do you know when cut to pack factory will scored/won't scored for wastewater chapter? 

Ans: Without STP, cut to pack factories score will be zero as per How to Higg Guideline for this year. But in the next yr may be it will be changed to if any factory have septic tank they will get partial score(N.B: for this yr it won't be scored though the factory have septic tank).
